Welcome to the Hotel Inglaterra - the oldest hotel in Cuba and one of the most well-known and emblematic of Havana. It was founded on December 23, 1875, and declared National Monument in 1981. In all these years it has hosted famous figures of the world of entertainment and letters such as Enrico Caruso, Federico García Lorca, Rubén Darío, Frei Betto, Winston Churchill, or world-class athletes José Raúl Capablanca, monarch of the chess world, and Ramón Font, among others
