The area’s lush landscapes are often best discovered while trekking through the jungle to Mayfield Falls or winding down the Great River on an inner tube. Vacationers can go on horseback rides, dune buggy adventures or ATV tours through local villages. There are also zipline canopy tours and boat trips up the Great Morass swamp.   

Not to be forgotten, the iconic Rick’s Café is best known for watching cliff divers leap into the ocean below.
