Please be advised that the Fairmont Empress in Victoria, British Columbia, will undergo scheduled renovation project from October 1, 2026, through April 30, 2027. Renovation work will be limited to the Humboldt Wing, which will be temporarily closed to guests throughout the project. All guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, lounges, meeting spaces, fitness facilities, services, and other amenities outside the renovation area will remain open and operate as usual. Guests may experience intermittent daytime construction activity and occasional noise in designated areas. The hotel anticipates that the overall impact on guests staying on neighbouring floors will be minimal. Renovation areas will be securely enclosed and clearly marked to ensure guest safety and comfort.
