Please be advised that the Royal Kona Resort, in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, will be undertaking a scheduled exterior restoration project on the Alii Tower beginning November 16, 2026, with work expected to continue through October 31, 2027. The initial phase of the project will focus on a limited number of mountain-facing guestrooms located on the east side of the Alii Tower. To help minimize guest impact, guestrooms directly affected by the restoration work will be removed from inventory during this period. Guests staying at the resort may observe scaffolding, exterior repairs, and painting activities on the Alii Tower. Construction work is scheduled daily between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. While the resort will make every effort to minimize disruptions, some noise associated with the project may be experienced during these hours. Please note that no exterior restoration work is planned for the Bay Tower or Lagoon Tower. For the safety and comfort of guests, all work areas will be securely enclosed and clearly marked. The resort has advised that every effort will be made to reduce the impact of the project and maintain a comfortable and enjoyable guest experience throughout the restoration period.
